Regional Retreats:

NELSM holds a fall and spring weekend retreat each year. NELSM retreats allow you to meet with Lutheran students from all over New York and New England. Each retreat has a theme discussed in large and small groups guided by presenters.

Reflections on past retreats.

Service Projects:

NELSM has held Habitat for Humanity weekends in the summer. Hammer away on Saturday, hit the beach after Church on Sunday!

Outreach:

The average age of an American is 34.
The average age of an American Lutheran is 54.

One of NELSM's most important ministries is reaching out to high school students and other college students and helping the Church keep young people active in their God-given faith lives.

The New England Synod Hammonassett Youth event will have roughly 750 high school-aged youth group members in attendance. NELSM wants these Christians to keep their relationship with God healthy. We will volunteer our services at Hammo to make the event as meaningful as possible for those in attendance while we encourage students to look into LSM and other organizations when they go to college.

Congregations (perhaps your home congregation) and Lutheran Camps also have young Lutherans who may not know what ministries are available to them after high school. Help us reach these Church members.
