Book of Faith Small Group Leaders
Deadline: November 30

Interested in leading a group of 10 peers in thoughtful, engaging Bible study? We're looking for 15-20 students who will lead small group discussions twice a day (for a total of 6 sessions) on topics and Bible passages that coincide with each day's theme and the overall gathering theme: Transformed to Reach Out! (Romans 12:2). Please email Katy ( katy.resop@elca.org ) by November 30 with the following information:

  • Your name, campus, and year in school
  • Why you'd like to be a small group leader

Book of Faith Small Group Leaders will receive information in preparation for the gathering throughout the month of December.

Dwelling in the Word Speakers
Deadline: December 12

Would you like to share part of your faith journey with your peers? LSM is looking for students willing to give 5 minute talks in the mornings to prepare our hearts and minds for each day's faith-filled journey! Explain what a Biblical passage means to you; share a particular experience that challenged or strengthened your faith; share an anecdote; reveal someone who has influenced your faith. be creative and inspire us all with your amazing stories of hope and faith as we begin each day! If you're interested, please email katy.resop@elca.org an example of what you'd like to share by December 12 .

Talent Show Performers
Deadline: December 12

We've all got talent-share yours with an audience on the final night of the National Gathering! Whether you'd like to sing, play, act, make us laugh, or show off something unique. there's room for you! If you're interested, please email katy.resop@elca.org with your name/the names of all performers and what you'll be performing, as well as an approximate length of your presentation/performance. We'll create a line-up and let you know more before you head to Chicago! Don't forget to pack whatever you need for your performance. We will have some AV/audio equipment available, but please ask about specifics if you think you'll need it. Get ready to rock!
