Proposed Resolution to LSM-USA

Purpose:         The purpose of this resolution is to name the Regional Advisor as a

signatory power on all regional back accounts where legally allowed, in addition to any other persons already listed as such, and to keep regional bank account numbers on permanent record at the LSM-USA national office in addition to one copy, per year, of a region bank account statement.

WHEREAS, Regional treasurers exercise important financial control over regional finance and several regional treasurers have been unable to complete their duties in the past year; and

WHEREAS, Several regional representatives have voiced concern over regional bank accounts being inaccessible; and

WHEREAS, Financial records need to be consistently accessible to regional leadership; and

WHEREAS, Financial authority needs to remain in control of duly elected regional leadership to conduct transactions; and

WHEREAS, Regional Advisors are readily identifiable;

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Regional Advisor be a signatory power on all regional back accounts where legally allowed, in addition to any other persons already listed as such;

AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all regional bank account numbers shall be kept on permanent record at the LSM-USA national office in addition to one copy, per year, of a region bank account statement.
