1988-4 AN AMENDMENT TO THE CONSTITUION TO CHANGE THE EXECTUTVE COMMITTEE

WHEREAS the position of secretary is limited in function to taking minutes at meetings,

and

WHEREAS the position of Financial Manager is limited to mostly correspondence with

the regards to financial matters, and

WHEREAS most of the actual financial dealings of LSM-USA are handled by the National Staff intern, and

WHEREAS the combining of the two positions would reduce travel costs for the Executive Committee,

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that ARTICE VI –The Executive Committee, item 2, now read:

The secretary, who shall conduct the correspondence of the Council and of the Executive Committee; keep accurate records of the meetings of the Council, the Executive Committee, and the Legislative Assembly; maintain a permanent documentary record of LSM-USA; be responsible for providing to the Council and Legislative Assembly a financial report; and also monitor the expenditures of LSM-USA and coordinate fundraising.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that ARTICLE VI- the Executive Committee, item 3, be

deleted.
