1988-3AN AMENDMENT TO THE CONSTITUTION TO CHANGE LEGISLATION DEADLINES

WHEREAS LSM-USA currently holds National Gatherings during students’ winter

breaks, and

WHEREAS a result of this legislation, deadlines are now too early in the school year for

many legislation authors.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that paragraph three (3) of ARTICE IV-The

Legislative Assembly now read:

The deadline for legislation that will be guaranteed consideration at the annual assembly will be a post-mark date of October 31^st prior to the assembly. The deadline for legislation that well be considered as time allows must be received in the national office one week before the beginning of the annual assembly. Any legislation received after this date will not be given consideration.
