URBAN MINISTRY FOCUS FOR 1984-85

WHEREAS the 1983-84 LSM-USA National Council suggested an urban ministry focus for the 1985 National Assembly,

THEREFOR BE IT RESOLVED THAT the 1984 National Assembly mandates the 1984-85 National Council to study and implement an urban ministry focus for 1984-85, including such options as

-summer work projects in urban settings

-convent relationships with urban ministries

-raising funds to support specific urban ministries

-other options as the spirit reveals them

            and encourages local and regional groups to do the same.
