THE CALL FOR CLEAN LAND RESOLUTION
The Lutheran Student Movement-USA has long-standing commitments to our environment as shown by our past ecological concerns – in particular the 1981 Environmental Policies. Therefore, it is time to reaffirm the ideas by taking action.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT
1. All collegiate participants of LSM-USA present at the 1983 Assembly take action by making a commitment in cleaning up the parks and roadsides we will be visiting on our many ways home from this year’s National Assembly, and
2. This Assembly initiate our commitment by disposing of refuse on the Montana State University campus, especially all public facilities used by those persons of LSM-USA Assembly.
This “Act” (resolution) will reaffirm our ideals through a personal commitment in marinating a beautiful and ecologically-sound North America.
