HUMAN SEXUALITY RESOLUTION

WHEREAS:     Homosexuality, Bisexuality, and Heterosexuality cannot be understood individually from a Christian perspective without a total understanding of human sexuality as a whole; and

WHEREAS:     Human sexuality compromises a wide range of expression, and homosexuality, bisexuality, and heterosexuality are all integral components; and

WHEREAS:     Current understanding of this issue in the Lutheran Churches is insufficient to adequately and competently deal with human relationships in modern society;

THEREFORE, be it encourage that all affiliates of the Lutheran Student Movement-USA thoroughly investigate with open hearts and open minds all issues and facets of human sexuality, so that subsequent decisions and actions may be made in the light of a clearer understanding than exists at present.
