A Note from the Editor:

            This booklet is in response to Resolution 76-1 which calls for continual record of actions taken on resolutions and position papers adopted annually at Lutheran Student Movement-USA Legislative Assemblies.  It serves as a record of where students’ interests are in the mid 70’s.  It also is important to note that these interests do change with the years, and a yearly compilation like this can have much value historically.

I hasten to add that the booklet cannot record actions taken by every local group on a particular issue, especially if they do not inform the national Lutheran Student Movement-USA office.  So, if a group sees that they were not recorded as having acted upon a Resolution or Position Paper when in fact they did, I apologize for the omission and urge them to inform the national office and/or their regional councilperson in the future if they feel their actions are noteworthy in their originality or faithfulness to the spirit of a Resolution or Position Paper.
