RESOLUTIONS: 1975-76
Actions taken and resources available on resolutions

A note from the editor:
This booklet is in response to a need for an accurate compilation of actions taken by the LSM on its resolutions throughout the year. This can serve people in the future as they compose resolutions, for this booklet clearly illustrates which types of resolutions are readily conducive to being acted upon and which resolutions are almost impossible to be acted upon. Also, this will show future students where our interested were in the mid-70’s. Interests do change with the years, and a yearly compilation like this can have much value in a historical sense.
I hasten to add that the booklet cannot record actions taken by every local group on a particular issue, especially if they do not inform the national LSM office. So, if a group sees that they were not recorded as having acted upon a resolution when in fact they did, I apologize for the exclusion and urge them to inform the national office and/or their regional councilperson in the future if they think their actions are noteworthy in their originality or faithfulness to the spirit of a resolution.
I hope that this booklet can be the beginning of a tradition of careful recording on a yearly basis of LSM resolutions, as a witness to the church and the World of our commitment to the Gospel.
