2000 YEARS AGO TODAY

WHEREAS:

· Our loyalty to God and Father of Jesus Christ takes precedence over any other loyalty; and

· Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ was crucified in the image of freedom for all peoples of the planet Earth; and

· Our dream of the Gospel comes before the American Dream; and

· Our allegiance is to Christ and His Declaration of Independence of the Human Community; and

· We are sisters and brothers in Christ Jesus before we are sons and daughters of the American Revolution.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT:

            The LSM National Council be directed to develop a “Declaration of Interdependence” of all creatures of the Human Family; to contain and contrast items of dissent and agreement between the Gospel of Jesus Christ and accepted American values and to be distributed to the local LSM groups.
