THE LUTHERAN HYMNAL

In as much as the Inter-Lutheran Commission on Worship is presently preparing an all-Lutheran Service Book and Hymnal to be published in 1978;

BE IT RESOLVED: That the Lutheran Student Movement council appoint two of its members to contact their respective Synod or District Committee on Music and Worship for information about the new service book and hymnal and their reaction to its proposed contents; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That LSM recommend the following to all regional and local groups: *That information = concerning the new service book and hymnal be made avail- , able to members *That comments and suggestions be made known to the Inter-Lutheran Commission on Worship

AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That LSM send a letter to the Inter-Lutheran Commission on Worship stating our continuing interest in the development of the service book and hymnal.

ACTIONS TAKEN: No action was taken on the national level to implement the resolution. There may have been action taken on this resolution by local groups, such as personal inquiries into the progress of the hymnal and suggestions made to the Commission, but no such action was reported to the national office.
