RESOLUTION OH THE MENTALLY RETARDED

WHEREAS LSM is committed to the truths of Matthew 24; and

WHEREAS the mentally retarded need acceptance and it is our duty to lead the way to acceptance; and

WHEREAS we need to accept the retarded as people with a handicap rather than handicapped people; and

WHEREAS the college community and local groups mood to accept the mentally retarded as people in their community; and

WHEREAS the mental institutions need to accept the fact that the mentally retarded need a new education in life orientation in order that they can be accepted;

RESOLVE that LSM should be a catalyst of information by ^providing resources and interest so that local groups and national organizations can help the mentally retarded.
